Little Indy
It was during the winter of 1999, when I picked up my first book on natural cosmetic formulation. For many years I created my own concoctions, containing mostly Almond oil. At that stage we lived in a small town in Australia that was know for the production of Almonds. The oil was plentiful and fresh. On return to South Africa, my staple oils adjusted and I was intrigued to learn about the harvest of natural oils and butters. I have spent most of my life making wine and the science of transforming the fruit of nature into a fresh, preserved product, was known to me. By 2016, I mastered the art of creating French, Farmhouse Soaps. My hobby supplied so many units, that The Little Indy Soap Shop was born. From there the rest of the cosmetic sciences just seemed natural and easy. To produce skin care that I wanted to use, was my biggest goal. The abundance and beauty of what nature has to offer, is my biggest inspiration and sharing this with the world in a usuable and preserved form, is my passion. Alicia Rechner. #indygirl
